I bought Cat Cora's cookbook for my daughter, a huge Food Network fan. She enjoys cooking, and I know she will love this cookbook with all its great menus and ideas for meal planning. This is a winner!

May send this cookbook back. I am still not sure about keeping it. I watched the video that Cat did on HSN and her demonstration and thought this might be very good. She made it look great and it looked like you could incorporate her recipes in everyday family life. Also read other reviews and people raved about the book. It is NOT an easy cookbook to follow. It is not for a family type setting making cooking fun and easy. Wolfgang, Emeril, Command Performance Jamie Gwen, Todd English they are all chef's and their cookbooks I own and are easy to follow and you come out with a complete whole meal. This book you come out with a little nothing to set in front of you at the table. There is no substance and none of the pictures look appetizing. Sorry that is how I see the cookbook. I enjoy cooking, but this cookbook does not do it for me.

Cat Cora's one of the best. Her grandmother's recipe for Italian Cream Cake was wonderful. Fun and easy to make. I like the information and explanations of reductions, types of oil. This would be a good book for a beginning chef or newlywed. I have learned alot and am anxious to try another recipe. I would give this cookbook a "thumbs up".

Love Cat's cookbook! Her recipes and culinary skills are WONDERFUL! Fabulous tips, ideas, the recipes that I have tried are exquisite and so tasteful! I try them out on my family and guests,& have not had one person who didnt LOVE them! Easy to follow, convenient, and CAT makes your cooking experience simply delightful and fun! Her "top chef" personality is reflected in each page! I LOVE watching her on the food network when she competes in the iron chef. I consider her one of the BEST!

This is the first cookbook that I have ever read like a regular book. When I buy cookbooks, I usually just randomly browse through, but this book is worth reading the introduction and all of the hints and suggestions that Cat gives throughout. It truly was inspirational to get to know Cat Cora through this wonderful book, and I hope she puts out more books that not only showcase her cooking talent, but also her personality. Bravo & Bon Appetit.
