No ordinary dessert recipes (no chocolate chip cookies here). How about saffron butter cake w/ orange glaze or polenta in peach (not pineapple) upside-down cake? The ingredients are few & the recipes for an easy tiramisu, apple/pear pie & chocolate croissant pudding make this worth keeping. I enjoy Gayle Gand's baking so I'll keep. Small tips section in the beginning. Into autographs? it's also signed. If you want to make extraordinary desserts simply, this book is for you.
