DISAPPOINTED / LYNN, NJ8/11/2008 VERY DISAPPOINTED. THIS IS SECOND ONE I RECEIVED WITH THE MOUSE PAD CLICKING AND STICKING. I CAN''T BE THE ONLY WITH THIS PROBLEM. HSN WAS VERY NICE WITH SENDING THE FIRST ONE BACK. IM HOPING THAT I CAN REPLACE THE SECOND ONE WITH ANOTHER SO I WILL NOT BE WITHOUT A LAPTOP. I AGREE THE LAPTOP ALSO GET HOT.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE ELSE IS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE MOUSE PAD CLICKING AND STICKING. GATEWAY WILL LIKE TO KNOW.
Great Laptop / Beverly, WA8/7/2008 I read all the comments before buying and even some at Gateway about this laptop. It is a much better deal at HSN. We have not noticed it getting hot. I hold it on my lap for hours and it never has been uncomfortable. I make sure I don''t have the vents blocked. This laptop is everything I wanted and waited for. I use it for everything, including photo editing. It is wirelessly linked to my desktop Gateway and works perfectly for everything we need to do. We our pleased with it.

JUNK / C.Walker, GA8/1/2008 After having the notebook for 32 days, IT STOPPED WORKING! Called Gateway (seeing as the 30 day return policy had just convenantly just expired)twice and both times the system is down and they can''t give me an address to send the notebook for the warrenty. I can overlook it getting hot and the two hour battery life (with no warning beep for the battery. It just suddenly dies). But not working at all AND not being able to get the help I need to repair it after 32 days is unacceptable.

Picks up many different wireless signals in local areas, fast internet when connected, and I cant forget the software that is included with the purchase. This handy laptop computer is definitely worth it''s price and I am sure it would be perfect for any college.
